Acceptance of the Goods
The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us within 7 (seven) days of receiving the goods should there be a fault. Please note that Shakinah Turkish Towels are hand loomed so there may be some small imperfections which are not to be considered a fault.
Change of Address
Shakinah cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order. Address confirmation is given through the order confirmation. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org immediately if the address entered is incorrect. We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround time of orders, some orders cannot be adjusted. In the case your order is processed and cannot be updated, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges section for more information.
Returns & Exchanges
To organise the exchange or return of an item, please email us at email@example.com.
Returns & Exchanges will only be accepted when the item/s are;
- In a saleable condition
- The item/s have not be used, damaged or washed
- In the original packaging
- You notify us for a refund/exchange within 7 (seven) days of receipt
- The original invoice or order number must be provided as proof of purchase
- The item/s are faulty (unless caused by you)
- Your item/s received are different to the goods you have ordered
Please note that returns are posted at your own cost and risk, and Shakinah shall not refund for products that are not received, shipping costs, or that are received broken or damaged. We highly recommend returning your items via Registered Post.
Please allow 14 (fourteen) days for your refund to be processed. You will be sent an email once the item(s) have been received and your refund has been processed.
If notified before your item/s have been dispatched, Shakinah can accomodate any cancellations. If item/s have been already shipped, the above Returns & Exchanges policy applies.

iv) Liability to the extent the same may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law. Nor will any of these terms restrict any of your statutory rights.
1.2 In no event shall we, our shareholders, directors, officers, or employees be liable (jointly or severally), to you or any third party for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits, whether or not advised of the possibility of damage, and on any theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of this information. If any applicable authority holds any portion of this section to be unenforceable, then liability will be limited to the fullest possible extent permitted by applicable law.
1.3 Our maximum liability to you, (whether in contract, tort, (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise), arising out of or in connection directly or indirectly with your use of the website, website content or our services shall not exceed in aggregate the greater of $1 and/or the total amount paid by you to us in respect of Shakinah services in the month preceding any such claim but, if you are a consumer, please note that this does not affect your statutory rights.
